7-10 days before your appointment :

Start applying a non scented, gentle lotion to the tattoo area twice a day. Moisturized skin is easier to tattoo! We won’t give you sh*t if you don’t- but it does make our job easier!

24 hours before your appointment:

—> DO NOT get trashed/drunk, or try to avoid alcohol. Alcohol is actually a type 1 carcinogen, not to mention it suppresses the immune system. It also disrupts blood vessel growth, lowers protein production, and interferes with cellular ability to heal wounds. It’s not great for healing.

2 hours before your appointment:

—> EAT. Like something substantial, with protein. Keeping your blood sugar up (but not too up!) helps your body cope with discomfort.

In Oregon you MUST be 18 years of age at least the the day of the appointment. 17 year olds wanting to make an appointment for their birthday/after are welcome to contact us!

The initial healing period for your new tattoo is approximately 10-14 days, although full healing will continue for months.

Keep your tattoo and bandage clean- showering is fine, but do not soak your tattoo.

After 3-5 days when the tattoo looks dry remove your bandage and gently wash your tattoo with warm water and fragrance free liquid soap. Gently pat dry with a clean paper towel.

Apply a thin layer of fragrance free lotion, like Lubriderm, twice a day for the remainder of the healing process.

We CANNOT tattoo you if;

• You’re sunburned in the tattoo area

• You’re injured in the tattoo area

• You’re pregnant

• You’re under 18

• You’re intoxicated

• You’re unable to legally consent

• You’re fighting cancer

YES. They all hurt- in varying degrees depending on the person, the body location, the color, etc- it’s not gonna be licked on by unicorns unfortunately …HOWEVER- we absolutely understand that pain sucks! Life is painful enough- if you choose to use a numbing product we don’t mind- just please inform us before your tattoo appointment.
